Website linking policy

We link to government and non-profit websites that include a 501(c)(3) nonprofit policy statement. We are currently removing links to websites that link to other commercial websites.

We link to sites that use a Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) URL scheme. This ensures and added layer of protection to anyone clicking on links on our website by preventing man-in-the-middle attacks. The only exceptions are for government websites that have not yet updated their URL scheme. You can secure an SSL certificate for free or for a fee. Please read this Google article to learn more about how to safeguard your site visitors.
